How it Works

The Engineering Design Challenge is open to public, charter, and homeschool students in grades 6–8. Teams of 3–4 design and build a solution using the Resilient Houston framework and present their work to judges. The competition takes place in person at the McKinney Conference Center on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
