This event brings together professionals from across the region to explore proven strategies, program supports, and innovative practices that ensure EB student success in today’s classrooms.

Call for Presenters

Bring your expertise to the stage at the 2025 Region 4 Bilingual/ESL Conference! We’re looking for dynamic educators to share innovative strategies that strengthen support for emergent bilingual students. Presentation strands include: effective program implementation, content-based instruction, ELPS, dual-coded services, family and community engagement, newcomer support, TELPAS, and English language development.

Submit your proposal by Monday, October 6 for a chance to present to fellow educators. Lead presenters will receive a waived registration fee. For more information, email r4mlsupport@esc4.net.

    A full day of concurrent presentations led by expert educators, covering evidence-based and research-driven strategies for teaching and supporting EB students.

    Throughout the day, you’ll dive into a range of essential topics that matter most for EB student success. Sessions will highlight culturally and linguistically sustained practices, explore effective dual language programming and transitions from L1 to L2, and showcase sheltered and content-based language instruction. You’ll also learn how to integrate technology and digital tools to increase engagement, apply assessment practices that support growth and mastery, and simplify program essentials such as LPAC processes and evaluation strategies.

    Build meaningful connections with peers, share challenges and successes, and discover ways to strengthen family engagement and newcomer support.

    Preview resources, products, and solutions designed to enhance bilingual and dual language programs.

Conference Overview

Classroom teachers (elementary through high school), program coordinators, instructional coaches, administrators, and education leaders dedicated to ensuring success for emergent bilingual students.

By the end of the conference, attendees will leave with practical strategies, ready-to-use resources, and a stronger professional network—equipped to meet the affective, linguistic, and cognitive needs of EB students and elevate learning across programs.
