Health Office Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Orientation
September 9 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

In Texas public schools, unlicensed staff members—often referred to as Health Aides, Clinic Aides, Instructional Aides, or Special Education Aides—frequently support the delivery of basic health services. These individuals may come from diverse backgrounds: some with formal healthcare experience such as Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) or Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs), others with training in first aid or campus-based health service orientations. In districts without designated health staff, these individuals often step in to meet essential student health needs.
