A collaborative initiative from Region 4’s Literacy and Language, Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and Special Education departments.

Are you a special education teacher looking to strengthen your impact in the classroom? Whether you teach in a resource setting, provide in-class support, or co-teach, the Region 4 Special Education Reading Project is designed just for you.

Region 4 Special Education is proud to offer targeted support for districts and charters identified with a performance level 3 or 4 on the special education Results Driven Accountability (RDA) indicator 1.ii.

Through a dynamic series of professional learning and coaching sessions, you’ll explore evidence-based strategies and best practices to deliver direct and explicit reading instruction that meets the unique needs of students with disabilities.
