Statewide Distance Venue—In Partnership with TWU and ESCs

To help meet the critical need for licensed speech-language pathologists (SLPs) in Texas public schools, Texas Woman’s University (TWU), the Texas Education Agency (TEA), Texas Education Service Centers (ESCs), and local school districts have partnered to offer a unique, distance-based master’s degree program in Speech-Language Pathology.

TWU’s Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of ASHA.

This program is designed for both individuals with and without prior experience in the field. Students complete coursework through a combination of videoconferencing, live Zoom sessions, and web-based instruction. Clinical experiences are completed at local school campuses, hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and rehabilitation centers.
