Texas Education Exchange Partners with PowerSchool
to Enhance K-12 Data Management Statewide

New collaboration enables Texas school districts to securely connect and utilize data across existing platforms

Houston, TX — PowerSchool and the Texas Education Exchange have partnered to provide school districts across the state with a solution to improve data management and utilization throughout their K-12 education systems. This collaboration aims to streamline how educational institutions connect their platforms, reducing administrative workloads without requiring districts to replace the software tools they already use.

The Texas Education Exchange serves as a region-led, statewide system connector that enables district software platforms to securely share data with one another automatically and accurately. With all 20 Education Service Centers participating in the network, the initiative offers a unified, statewide approach to educational technology.

“This partnership with PowerSchool represents a significant step forward in how Texas school districts manage and utilize their data,” said Firmino Mariano, Director of the Texas Education Exchange. “By enabling seamless and secure data sharing across platforms, we’re empowering educators and administrators with the tools they need to make informed decisions and focus on what truly matters—supporting student success.”

The system is built on a simple principle: help districts connect their systems once, retain ownership of their data, and use those connections continuously across reporting, analytics, and other applications.

Through this partnership, PowerSchool will enable their customers to maximize the value of their connected systems. After completing the onboarding process with the Texas Education Exchange, districts gain the capability to securely share data across various educational programs, PowerSchool products, and other third-party applications.

By establishing secure, automated data pipelines, districts can ensure their teachers and administrators have access to accurate information when they need it most. The integration ultimately supports better decision-making and more efficient resource allocation across the entire K-12 network.
