Get Classroom-Ready for K-5 Civics Learning
Beginning in summer 2026, Texas Senate Bill 3 requires each campus to send at least one teacher and one principal to complete TEA-approved civics training.
Region 4 is offering K–5 Civics Training sessions to help districts meet this requirement. Sessions are designed to strengthen civics knowledge, support classroom discussion, and build strategies for integrating civic learning across subjects. Training Time: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM | Credits: 12 CPE Hours | Location details are available on the registration website.
