Speech-Language Pathology Conference

The Region 4 Speech-Language Pathology Conference is a one-day event that connects speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and assistant SLPs who serve school-aged students in the greater Houston area. Participants will engage in various breakout sessions designed to increase the effectiveness of these professionals in serving students with communication needs. As a result of learning, participants will:

1. Identify evidence-based practices for serving students with the disability condition of speech impairment.
2. Connect with other professionals to share information, ideas, and best practices for successfully fulfilling the role of a school-based speech-language professional.
3. Create a plan to implement new learning into actionable steps to improve outcomes for students served.
