Primary Purpose: The Deputy Chief of Innovation sets the vision for a culture of fiscal responsibility across campuses and
departments. This position is required to do the following:
• An educational auditor who provides recommendations in all aspects of educational practices
including, but not limited to instruction, personnel, operations, and finance.
• Direct the processes for internal and external reporting, ensuring academic compliance, assists
with regulation of funding, and managing reporting processes.
• Has expertise in education, instruction, personnel practices, policies, regulations, and reporting
procedures to ensure the school system remains in full compliance and efficiently meets all
reporting obligations.
• Understands that innovation does not always infer “more” but is the ability to translate creative
ideas from the past and present into concepts when practically applied, solve problems and
improve efficiency in an environment filled with new educational expectations.
• Provide strategic coaching in all areas of the educational system.
• Oversee and evaluate current and future initiatives.
